At IMP Promont, we bring together the design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of systems for the pharmaceutical and energy-intensive industries, and for energy infrastructure. We work where technical complexity and reliability decide the outcome.
We treat every project as a whole. Even when our scope is design-only, we design the solution the way it will be built and installed. Our own manufacturing and our own installation crews mean delivery on schedule and without surprises on site. What we do
Process and energy systems for demanding industrial environments.
We specialise in projects for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, energy-intensive industries, and energy infrastructure. For these sectors, we design and build process systems and pre-assembled modular units (skids), execute process piping installations, and carry out overhauls and brownfield integrations. All our solutions are engineered for uncompromising reliability and long-term, uninterrupted operation.

Our history
More than 75 years of experience.
The transition from a local heating installation company to a contractor for complex process systems is the result of a strategic focus on demanding projects. In-house manufacturing and direct execution control have enabled our growth into a stable partner. The milestones below illustrate the development of IMP Promont into a comprehensive solutions provider.
1947
Founding of the company Toplovod in Ljubljana, marking the beginning of activities in heating and plumbing installations.
1963
Merger with Elektrosignal, resulting in the establishment of IMP, Industrijsko montažno podjetje Ljubljana.
1992
Establishment of IMP Promont as an independent unit, driving expansion into infrastructure, energy, and the beginning of operations in the pharmaceutical industry.
2011
Strategic shift towards demanding industrial projects alongside the establishment of an in-house engineering department.
2023
Start of restructuring encompassing digitalisation, new quality processes, and the construction of the production facility in Naklo for prefabrication and process skids.
2024
Opening of the business unit in Naklo, followed by the immediate launch of new projects and skid fabrication.
2025
Establishment of the new production plant in Ruše, thereby increasing manufacturing capacities for stainless steel products.
